Record Turnout at Agri Affairs Meeting
The first of the East Region Agri Affairs Meeting took place on Thursday 8th November at the Huntingtower Hotel, Perth. The evening was hosted by Agricar, Perth and consisted of talks by the New Holland producers, a SAYFC Agri Affairs Round-up and a pie and pint for all in attendance. It was great to see such a fantastic turn-out and the East and Agri Affairs Committee's hope that this will continue at future Agri Affairs Meetings.

Sally Wilson (Ettrick Lauderdale YFC) & Grant Maxwell (South Mid Lothian JAC) have just returned from the latest CEJA Seminar. They joined more than 60 participants from over 20 European countries for a fruitful discussion on climate change and agroenergies in Campania, Italy.

NEW CAMPAIGN FOR SCOTTISH FOOD AND FARMING
NFU Scotland has launched a high profile, national campaign to encourage people to choose Scottish food and drink. The food and farming campaign will highlight not only the quality of Scottish food and drink, but the environmental, animal welfare, health and social benefits of buying Scottish.
