Each year SAYFC offers a number of unique opportunities for Members to travel all over the world on culutal, educational exchanges and visit! With the help of the International Trust many of these trips comes with Funding
SAYFC offer a variety of destinations throughout the world with the below being the prime destinations:
European Rally - Slovenia
Available Places: 4
Month: July or August
Duration: 1 Week
Australia - Tasmania
Available Places: 1
Date: Mid April to end of July
Duration: up to 2 Months - There willbe a major event being held between the 29th of April and 8th of May, along with the set up and day of AGFEST field days. Exchangees will stay on sire and be fully involved in the event. At the end of May you will attend the AGFEST dinner. Mid June you will be on a long weekend trip. Late June/ early July you will be attending the state ball. Note that Tasmania si the only state hosting.
USA - Colorado

Canada

Date: 28th May - 28th August 2011
Duration: Up to 3 Months - Delegates should arrive on the 28th of May by 2pm for the Orientation Session. delegate should expect to pay for activities and tourist attractions etc. Host are encouraged to provide most meals however; delegates are expected to pay for some meals out with the host family home. Delegates will typically spend a week with each host family. All activities, accommodations etc during Break Week (july 10th - 16th) are the responsibility of the delegate.

Duration: 2 Weeks - Members will be hosted by members and their families for a week prior to the Royal Welsh Show. You will attend the Royal Welsh Show and may be required to stay in a tent or caravan. Money will be needed for social expenditure/food etc during outings especially during the show. Tickets to the show will be provided.
Northern Ireland

Arrival Date: 8th May - 22nd May
Duration: 2 Weeks - The exchange will cover the Balmoral Show which runs from the 11th to the 13th May.
Ireland

Finland

Arrival Dates: 14th June/21st June/28th June or 5th July
Duration: Up to 8 weeks - You will be sightseeing in Helsinki and have an introduction to IFYE and Finland 4H. You will stay with one family for up to 2 weeks. Exchangees may arrive either to Helsinki or Tampere Airports.
Norway
Available Places: 1
Arrival Date: 24th June 2011
Durations: 6 weeks - Delegates are asked to arrival is Oslo on the 24th of June for a two day orientation, departure to the first host family will take place on the 27th June.
Austria

Duration: Up to 6 weeks - Arrival destination will be Vienna International Airport
Switzerland

Following the success of the Junior Camp held in 2009, SAYFC will be hosting the 2010 Junior Camp at Lagganlia Centre for Outdoor Education in Kingussie. The camp will be held from Friday 15th - Sunday 17th October 2010.
