The East Region Quiz took place on Sunday 6th December at the Young Farmers Centres where 4 of the 5 districts had a team entered. There were six rounds of questions on general knowledge, current affairs, agriculture, household, sport, & music.
The highly competed Quiz Elimination took place in conjunction with the Junior Speechmaking. Four District teams competed for one place at the National Final which takes place on the 28th of February 2010 at the National Competition Weekend being held in Inverness.
Fingers were on the buzzer and with some quick firing rounds, Peebles JAC representing Lothian & Peebles District came out top with Strathmore JAC (Angus Tayside District) and East Fife JAC (Fife & Kinross District) following behind in joint second place.
