The Highland Stockjuding Competition was back in the Young Farmers Calendar for 2010. After an unsuccessful attempt to re-introduce this competition in 2009, the Caithness District managed to host the competition for the first time since 2004.
Around 20 individuals took part in the competition held at the Caithness Livestock Centre, Quoybrae.
Bower "A" team consisting of Lesley Oliphant, James Barnetson and Douglas Webster took top honours for the day, closely followed by Forss "B" team of John Coghill, Marie Olphant and Susan Shearer.
