|

The weekend took the form of an Olympic Weekend, where the conference delegates were split up to represent a random country to compete in the West Region Olympic Games.
The Friday night started with the Olympic Opening Ceremony and formal dinner, where out country representatives danced away into the wee small hours, with a disco courtesy of Stuart Russell.
After a survivors breakfast and formal proceedings in the form of the West Region Mid Point Assembly, and a very informative talk by Susie Hope from Mercy Ships, the games commenced.
The Countries competed in classic olympic games, with a twist, such as the paper aeroplane javelin, balloon weight lifting and a random relay race. Everyone seemed to enjoy the games and without even a hint of a drugs scandal or false starts in the races, it was probably the most successful olympic games ever!
The weekend finished off with a lively quiz and charades competition, where extra points were secured for each country and the winning country of the Olympic games was announced.
The winning team of this year's Olympic games were India, closely followed by China, and France in third place.
