17 Jun BBC’s The Social Are on The Hunt For Young People With a Story
The Social is BBC Scotland’s platform for young audiences – who mainly exist on social media – making short form video content. But who also do stuff for iPlayer and BBC Scotland TV channel as well.
Their mission is twofold – to develop young talent in Scotland (filmmakers, comedians, people with stories to tell) and to make content for young audiences in Scotland to view/ engage with.
Are you a young farmer who are interested in making your own content? Then BBC The Social can take you on board as a contributor – where you would work with them on making content for The Social (in whatever your’re passionate about)
Lots of our contributors shoot and edit videos on their phones, so no expensive kit needed!
Are you, or do you know of – a young farmer (or a group) who have great stories to tell? The Social could hook you up with their young filmmakers to make one of their ‘Into It’ documentary series, which you can watch here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p067zmd3
