Eight East Region teams tied on their aprons on Tuesday evening to cook up a storm in Loch Leven Campus in Kinross as part of the regional eliminations of the ‘Scotch Beef’ Country Cooks competition.
The budding chefs were challenged to produce dishes within only 48 minutes of cooking time, using various ingredients.
The winning dishes from Jennifer Jeffrey and Emma Gray of Peeblesshire JAC have given the girls a pass to the semi-finals to be held on Thursday 20th June at 12noon on the Quality Meat Scotland stand during The Royal Highland Show.
