The Village Survival Guide

The  Village Survival Guide – Princes Countryside Fund

The team are ready to help in a crisis. Whether; an outbreak of animal disease or extreme weather – their EMERGENCY FUND is ready and available when the need arises and is currently supporting farmers affected by significant destruction due to flooding – to fields, roads and bridges, winter fodder and feed.

£50,000 of emergency funding is being distributed by the Addington Fund and if you need support for damage caused to your farm please contact them on 01926 620135.

In 2018, over 500 community led projects were recommended to The Prince’s Countryside Fund as a result of their Recharging Rural research.

That’s why they’ve decided to publish The Village Survival Guide. Based on the lived experience of rural residents from all across the UK, this book will help communities to tackle a multitude of issues and make sure that their community will thrive in the future.

Featuring advice from experts, as well as the stories of those who’ve made a real difference in their rural community, The Village Survival Guide will help you get your community up and running.

The Prince’s Countryside Fund provides more than £1m in grants each year to projects across the UK. We have grants of up to £50,000 available for innovative projects that will provide a lasting legacy to the individuals and communities they seek to benefit.
