Agri Affairs Study Tours

The Agri & Rural Affairs Committee arrange a long haul international agricultural study tour every second year with a short haul trip to a destination closer to home in the alternate years.

An Agri Study Tour, whether short or long haul is a fantastic opportunity for a small group of young farmers, selected by an interview panel, to visit a different part of the world while learning about a vast array of areas in the agriculture and related sectors. Travelling in a group also offers them the chance to learn from other likeminded SAYFC members.

To gain a place on one of our long haul study tours really is a chance of a lifetime and definitely worth applying for!… next tour will be in 2027, watch this space!
