I have really enjoyed being part of SAYFC at club and district level – and being able to support the East Region with their physcial events as an Office Bearer, I’m totally delighted!
Hearing of the various clubs and district’s plans is exciting and it’s good to know my fellow Young Farmers are constantly being educated through the association.
There’s so much learning to be had, on how to become your best self. From Farm Safety and Mental Health Training, to Business and Succession Planning – there’s plenty, to allow us to develop our skill base, no matter your background! The recent addition of more meetings, such as these trainings and committee meetings being held both virtually and physically, means that young farmers are being represented no matter whether they’re from the borders, highlands, or islands!
