North Region Agri Competitions Weekend

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd October

Caithness Auction Mart, Quoybrae followed by Boilersuit Disco, Pentland Hotel, Thurso

• Beef cattle dressing – rules below – Each district may enter 2 teams, see rules for details Please let me know ASAP if you plan to enter the cattle dressing.
• Prime Lamb Dressing – rules below – open number of entries
• Agri Skills Competition – rules below – open number of entries
• Boiler Suit Disco, Pentland Hotel, Princes St, Thurso, 8.30pm till late

Sunday 2^nd October,

• Agri & Rural Affairs Farm Visit, Full details to follow, Everyone is welcome to stay for the weekend and attend this visit.

All competitions can be entered using the links below. The closing date is Monday 20^th September but please let me know before then if you plan to enter teams for the cattle dressing.

Saturday Agenda is as follows (may be subject to change)   

10.00am –          Cattle dressing registration to start 10.15am

10.00am –           Agri Skills Competitions start and will run till 4.00pm

2.15pm –            Lamb Dressing registration to start at 2.30pm

4.30pm  –           Results

8.30pm  –           Boilersuit Disco, Over 18s only, £10 entry.

Sunday 

10.30am –           Farm tour by kind permission of the Mackay Family, Killimster, Wick, KW1 4RX
