SAYFC were delighted to be invited along to the RHASS Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday in the presence of Their Majesties The King and Queen - at Crathie Kirk. 🌾

It was an especially special day for our North Region Chair, Ellen Glennie, who was asked to perform one of the readings on the day:
"It was a real honour to be invited to represent SAYFC at the RHASS Harvest Thanksgiving service at Crathie Kirk. Reading to the congregation in the presence of His Royal Highness King Charles and Her Royal Highness Queen Camilla is a moment I will always remember."

Thanks to the @rhass1784 Aberdeenshire Presidential Initiative for their kind invitation and for supporting our Big Build Project as one of their charitable beneficiaries for the 2025/26 year, alongside our friends at @rsabi_ πŸ™Œ

Fundraiser Recognition 🏠

On the 12th of July, Paul Thomson & Michael Mauchline of @strathmore_jac took on the infamous Three Peaks Challenge, climbing to the highest points in Scotland, England & Wales in just one day! ⛰️

Not only were the pair able to complete the feat in only 23 hours and 41 minutes, they also raised an amazing Β£1655 towards SAYFC's Big Build Campaign in the process.πŸŽ‰

An incredible achievement!

Well done to Paul, Michael, and to all their fellow members who supported them on the challenge. And a special shout out to their driver Ryan McWilliam, who safely ferried the intrepid climbers on their cross country adventure. πŸ‘

We would like to thank everyone involved and all those who donated to the challenge. πŸ™Œ
