of a lifetime? Spend Summer 2025 on an unforgettable 10-week journey exploring the stunning sights of Ontario, Canada! Immerse yourself in their rich rural landscape while being hosted by the welcoming members of the Junior Farmers of Ontario.
Travel alongside exchangees from around the globe as you connect with local members and farmers. Discovering the heart of Canadaโs rich agricultural heritage while making friendships and memories that will last a lifetime
The trip even includes a visit to the iconic Calgary Stampede! Where you can witness the excitement of one of North America’s largest rodeos, complete with thrilling events, live music, and a taste of cowboy culture.

Northern Ireland
A two-week journey through Northern Ireland, hosted by our friendly neighbours at the Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster.
The fortnight will be jam packed with activities including farm tours, sightseeing and local Young Farmers events. You will also get the chance to attend the Balmoral Show, Northern Ireland’s premier agricultural event. Witness livestock competitions, explore local produce, and enjoy a variety of live entertainment that showcases the best of rural life.
This trip is not just about agriculture; itโs about building connections. Travelling as a pair, you will get the chance to meet members and peers who share your passion for farming and build lasting friendships.
Tasmania
This destination is bi-annual so is not availableย for 2025 but will be an option in 2026
Embark on a transformative 6-week adventure to the other side of the world and the breath-taking island of Tasmania! Through your Rural Youth Tasmania hosts you will experience a diverse array of agricultural practices while immersing yourself in the stunning landscapes and rich culture of this remarkable destination.
But that’s not all! You will also be part of ‘Agfest,’ a three-day agricultural event entirely organised by Rural Youth. You will have the chance to volunteer, meet fellow young farmers, and help showcase the best of agriculture in Tasmania.
