πŸ“£She's Done It!!πŸ”οΈπŸŽ‰

Congratulations to our National Chair Jillian Kennedy who conquered her final Munro of her Climb Chair Climb Challenge on Saturday! πŸ‘

Jillian, alongside a host of friends and fellow members, has now completed an incredible 56 peaks as part of the challenge, that's one for every year our old Young Farmers Centre was open for!

Throughout the challenge, Jillian has climbed through sweltering heat, days of driving rain and wind, and even snow, but none of this could deter her from her goal to raise vital funds and awareness for SAYFC's 'Big Build' Campaign. A truly monumental effort!πŸ™ŒπŸ

If you would like to congratulate Jillian and her fellow climbers and help them reach their fundraising goal of Β£100 per Munro, please head to our special 'Climb Chair Climb' donation link in our bioπŸ”—πŸ‘€

⛰️55 Down- 1 To Go

Tomorrow, our National Chair Jillian will take on the final Munro of her 'Climb Chair Climb' Challenge.

Over the past three months, she and her fellow climbers have battled through every form of Scottish weather, walked from dawn 'til dusk and beyond, and travelled the length and breadth of our three Regions to conquer 55 of our Nations most famous peaks.πŸƒπŸŒ§οΈπŸŒ¦οΈπŸ₯Ύ

Now its is only the lone heights of Ben Lomond that stands in their way. If any members or supporters would like to join for the final climb, we will be meeting at the Ben Lomond Car Park at 10am on Saturday morning, the more the merrier!πŸ™Œ

You can donate to the challenge and send a message of support at the link in our bio. πŸ”—

Lucy represented the association fantastically with her speech β€˜From the Highlands to the Prairies, A Sheepish Comparison', an in depth look at the differences between sheep farming in both Scotland and Canada. Well done Lucy!πŸ‘

Thanks to the SAYFC International Trust for once again supporting this opportunity for our young speechmakers to perform on a global stage. πŸ™Œ
