Happy New Year from the SAYFC!🎉

Thanks to all our members, supporters and friends who helped to make 2025 such a memorable year for the association.🙌

Throughout the year our members showed time and time again everything great about our movement. Showcasing their incredible passion, skills and humanity from club level to the international stage. We truly can’t wait to see what they can achieve in 2026!👀

We have also been overwhelmed by the support from our community so far for our ‘Big Build’ project. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve surpassed £700k raised and are nearing the halfway mark toward creating a brand-new home for Young Farmers in Scotland.🏠

Hopefully in 2026 with your continued support we can work together to achieve this goal, and build a permanent base dedicated to supporting our agricultural community and most importantly our wonderful members.

Here’s to the year ahead, let’s keep building!

🏠Fundraising Thank Yous

Thanks to the members of @lanarkshireyf who took on their epic 55.7km Club Crawl back in September, raising the brilliant sum of £1,089 for the Big Build! 🥾

48 members took part on the day completing legs of the journey from East Kilbride to Biggar. A special shout out to the three district office bearers who completed the ENTIRE CHALLENGE, a marathon effort which saw them walking for 13.5 hours in total!

Thanks again to all those that took part for their incredible efforts and to everyone who supported them. We are delighted that the project has inspired so many of our members to go above and beyond to fundraise and support it. It shows the hard work and spirit that lie at the heart of our YF Community and connects us to what we're building towards, a place that will support these members and these values for years to come.🙌

If you want to find out more about the 'Big Build' and how you can get involved, head to the link in our bio🔗

🏠Big Build Burns Trilogy- Speaker Spotlight🎤

Introducing the first of our speakers for our East Region Burns Supper:

The First Minister of Scotland himself, Mr John Swinney MSP

The long-serving MSP has plenty of experience supporting Agriculture both in his rural constituency and on a national stage, and has previously described the work of our National Bard as "joyful and buoyant". We're excited to have Mr Swinney with us alongside a host of other well-kent speakers for what promises to be an evening packed with good food and entertainment.🙌

To secure your space head to the link in our bio 🔗

This special trio of Burns inspired events are being put on to raise funds for our 'Big Build' Project. SAYFC's campaign to raise the vital funds needed to build a new home for Scotland's Young Farmers. If you would like to learn more about the campaign and how to get involved you can find a link to our dedicated Big Build Webpage in our bio. 👀

If you are interested in booking a sponsored table for one of these events please email info@sayfc.org📧
