🏠Fundraising Thank Yous

Thanks to the Laird & Stevenson families of Sunnyside and Carbello at Cumnock for their support of the Big Build campaign.🙌

Earlier this year, the families sold this cracking Suff x Tex Hogg with Blue Texel sired twins at Lawrie and Symington mart with all proceeds going to the Big Build. The lot sold at £170 per life, meaning a brilliant £510 raised for the project! A fantastic result and a wonderfully generous donation.🐑💜

We are so grateful to all those willing to donate their money, time and even their stock to the campaign. We are getting closer and closer to our goal and we appreciate any contributions big or small to get us over the line for breaking ground in the coming months.

Did you know sleep is one of the most vital parts of our wellbeing and recovery?💤

Development & Wellbeing committee member Amy Douglas has put together a handy factsheet on the importance of prioritising sleep, especially during the busiest seasons on the farm.🙌

Members across the country will be receiving the results of their National, Higher and Advanced Higher exams this morning.📝

We would like to congratulate them all on the hard work they've put in throughout the year and wish them all the best for their results.👏

If you have received your results and are looking for guidance on your next steps, Skills Development Scotland (SDS) has set up a special results helpline, with careers advisers on hand to provide support and assistance. This helpline can be contacted on 0808 100 8000 and will be open 8am to 8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9am to 5pm on Thursday and Friday.☎️

Remember, exam results aren't everything. There are so many paths that you can take to find the career that suits you best- whether that be college or university, starting an apprenticeship, or other training or entering employment. We encourage you to take a breath, talk to advisers, parents and friends and give yourself all the time you need to consider the options available to you.

Best of luck.🙌
