Not long until our Senior Leadership Team take on their 'Big Climb for the The Big Build'🧗

On May 17th this intrepid group will take our fundraising efforts to new heights by scaling the iconic Kelpies statues. Before braving the descent, either by free-hanging abseil or the breath-taking quick flight rope drop!

All of this in an effort to raise money towards building a new home for Young Farmers in Scotland.🏠

Here are your Development & Wellbeing Committee 2025/26 🙌

This year the committee will be chaired by Elspeth Purdie of @lowernithyfc , assisted by her vice, Emma Gray of @peeblesshirejac.

They will be working with their committee to continue to deliver personal development opportunities and wellbeing initiatives for members. In particular Elspeth is looking forward to further developing our member Training Hub and providing plenty of training opportunities to members.

On Monday a draw will be made to decide the successful applicants - this is NOT first come first served!
The successful applicants will be notified on Monday 12th and payment must be received by Tuesday 13th May.

Introducing our National Competitions & Events Committee for 2025/26 🏆

The committee is headed by new chair Lois Scott of @forfar_jac , assisted by Ewan Aitken of @strathearnjac as her vice.

Together they will be working hard to deliver a varied programme of National Competitions and Events for members throughout the year. Lois is particularly looking forward to hearing members' thoughts on competitions and using that feedback to boost engagement and help shape future competitions.

Every day this week we will be introducing the members of our National Committees for 2025/26 🙌

Starting off with our Agri & Rural Affairs Committee 🌾

This year the committee will be led by chair Fraser Graham of @xroadsyfc, assisted by his vice for the year James Kennedy of @eastlothianjac.

Well done to Fraser and James on their appointments and to all of the members who have been voted onto the committee for 2025/26.

They are already working hard to deliver Agri events and development opportunities for members throughout the year. Particularly our much anticipated Study Tour to Texas and this year's Agri & Rural Affairs Conference which will be held in November.
