West Get Clipped Into Shape

On Saturday 24th September the West Region hosted their annual Beef Cattle Dressing competition at Ayr Market with stock being kindly supplied by James Nesbit. With 13 teams competing across both Junior and Senior level it was a successful turn out from all districts. Our fantastic judging duo, Suzie Dunn and Cammy Jackson left no tail unturned in the judging process.

The results are as follows:

JUNIOR-

1st – Amy Vance & Lorna Cannon, Machars YFC

2nd – Rory Scott & Alex Drummond, Crossroads YFC 

3rd-  Molly Russell & Finlay Smail, Lower Nithsdale YFC

SENIOR-

1st – Dexter Logan & Andrew Morton, SSS YFC

2nd- Ross Montgomerie & Jamie Clark, Kilmaurs YFC 

3rd- Daniel Hodge & Gavin Gilliland, Mauchline YFC
