Anna leads Aberfeldy to victory

On Monday 11th February our East Region held their Senior Speechmaking Competition at The Tayside Hotel, Stanley.

Two teams competed on the night, keen to test their skills in preparation for the National Finals in Inverness at the end of the month. The members put on a brilliant display, debating their points well and putting forward insightful arguments.

The results on the night were:

1^st– Aberfeldy and District JAC- (Nick Hutchon, Anna McDiarmid, Joanna McLeod, Chloe Michie)

2^nd– Bankfoot JAC- (Caitlin Barrie, Katie Brown, Louise Carr, Megan Osbaldstone)

Best Individual Speaker – Anna McDiarmid of Aberfeldy and District.
