Our National Junior Young Farmer Competition has r

Our National Junior Young Farmer Competition has returned for a second year with the support of @lantra.scotland 🏆

This competition encourages junior members to think about the future of farming in Scotland as well as the training opportunities available to young people.

For a chance at the National title, members under 18 must submit a 400 word essay with the subject 'Training for the Future', alongside a poster detailing what a Scottish Farm may look like in 2035. 🎨📝

The date and venue have been confirmed for our annual Agri & Rural Affairs Conference (supported by @galbraithgroup and @royalbank) 🌾🚜

This year the conference will be returning to the West Region, being hosted at the Mercure Hotel in Ayr from the 28th- 30th of November.

The conference is always a highlight of the SAYFC calendar. And in what is being seen as a pivotal year for the agricultural industry, there is no better time for Young Farmers to gather together to share ideas and experiences with peers and industry experts and convene over the future of farming in the UK.

Further details including the conference theme, speakers and workshops will be released soon.
