Full Results from our National Curling Competition
SAYFC’s National Curling competition took place on Sunday, 28th March at the renowned Greenacres Curling Club. Seven teams competed on the day, eager to showcase their skills on the ice.
After an end-to-end day of competition, it was the team from Annandale who took the top spot. The Dumfriesshire team delivering a skilful display on the day to claim the title.
The team were more than pleased with their performance on the day:
“We are absolutely delighted with the win. It’s not often that Annandale win competitions at national level so really happy to get this win against really strong opposition. The team played very well throughout the day and congratulations to all the other competitors.”
Strathmore followed closely, earning second place. With the team from East Kilbride completing the podium in third.
Congratulations to all the teams who competed and thanks to the Greenacres Curling Club for hosting a memorable day of curling. Thanks also to our hard-working stewards who helped make the competition a success.
