27 Apr Hamish and Laura get the Message Out
East Lothian JAC’s Hamish Logan has been re-elected as the Chair of the ‘Communications & Marketing’ Committee.
Speaking of his election, Hamish highlighted:
“Itβs a great honour to be re-elected as the national comms and marketing chair for another year. The new committee being set up last year was great to be involved with and I am looking forward to another year of leading the committee for SAYFC”
The Committee have also elected Laura McCulloch of Stranraer and Rhins YFC to work alongside Hamish as the first Vice Chair of Communications.
Laura had this to say of her appointment:
“Young Farmers has always played a very special part in my life since the age of 14 and I have it to thank for so much! I am very proud to have been given the chance to take on the role as Vice Chair of the National Communications and Marketing Committee this year and look forward to helping promote the fantastic organisation that is SAYFC and all that it offers! Having a Journalism degree and a previous background in marketing and communications, means that I am very passionate about this area and aim to actively encourage clubs and members across Scotland to share all the wonderful things that they are doing across their communities! Alongside our brilliant Chair Hamish and talented Marketing and Communications Committee, I look forward to seeing what exciting things we can achieve in the year ahead!”
