15 Jan Aberfeldy Talk Their Way to the Top
On Sunday 21st January, East teams headed to Newbridge Bowling Club for their senior speechmaking elimination. After a two year hiatus it was great to see teams back and ready to debate their way to National. On the judging panel was Clare Dickson, Niall Lyon and John Weir who all brought a shower of expertise and knowledge with them. The day ran tip top with East Vice Chair James Kennedy (East Vice Chair)Β and Michael Rolfe (West Vice Chair) pairing up to lead the competition. The final results are as follows:
-1st Aberfeldy & District JAC
-2nd Fife & Kinross District
-3rd Bankfoot JAC
-Best Chair out with the winning team: Ally Brunton (F&K)
-Best panel member out with the winning team: James Hay (F&K)
The top two teams will go on to represent East in the National Final, held in Dundee later this year.Β Well done again to everyone taking part and thank you again to everyone who supported the event!
