Inverurie JAC success in North Region Clay Pigeon Shoot

The SAYFC North Region annual Clay Pigeon Shooting competition was held at Seafield Shooting Ground, Portsoy on Sunday 10th October with success going to Inverurie JAC.

The day saw 26 competitors from across the region take part in a 50-bird sporting flush. Inverurie JAC showed their superior shooting skills on the day, taking first place with their team made up of Martyn Thomson, Ian Armstrong and Aiden Wallace (combined score of 122).

The second placed team were from Keith YFC, Michael Stronach, Ricky Henderson and Tom Gillibard (combined score of 102) and Third place went to Mid Deeside JAC, Iain Kellas, Daniel Farquhar and Richie Paterson (combined score of 90). Other competing teams were from Udny, Garioch, Strichen and Lower Speyside.

The Top Gun individual of competition was Aiden Wallace of Inverurie JAC with a score of 48 out of a possible 50.
