The National Junior Speechmaing took place on Saturday 7th of December with thanks to The Royal Bank of Scotland for the use of the Conference Centre at Gogarburn.
6 teams took to the stageΒ with a variety of topics hoping to impress the judges, Helen Hendry, William Campbell and Bruce Lang.
The top teams on the day were:
1st Mauchline – “Have i got news for you” – Matthew Morrison, Lucy Sutherland and Scott Sutherland
2nd Avondale – “There is no Plan B” – Jane Fleming, Mark Bryson, Lewis Fleming
3rd Machars “The Beat of Life” – Hamish Sutherland, Angus McClymont, Ellie McClymont
