‘Covid 19 – An Opportunity for Scottish Agriculture’

The Agri and Rural Affairs Committee are hosting an online panel session with the theme β€˜Covid 19 – an opportunity for Scottish Agriculture’.

The committee would usually host their Agri Affairs conference weekend in November which unfortunately could not go ahead last year. This session will give participants the opportunity to hear from a panel of experienced speakers from all areas of the sector who have strong links to the Scottish agriculture industry both at home and abroad. They have been invited to give their views on the past year and their hopes for the way forward during and post covid 19. Catherine Sloan, Agri Affairs Chairman 2020/21 said Β β€˜2020 was a turbulent year for Scottish Agriculture and our webinar will explore whether there is an opportunity going forward to turn an apparent negative into a positive despite the current uncertainty’

Speakers:

Jock Gibson of Edinvale Farm, Dallas and Manager of Macbeths Butchers, Forres

Caroline Millar, Owner of The Hideaway Experience, Auchterhouse, Dundee and established the Scottish Agritourism organisation, Go Rural
