31 Oct The Rain Never Bothered Them Anyway
On Sunday 29th October 2023, The East region once again braved the weather, dug out the waterproofs and headed to Riverside playing pitches for their annual Hockey and 5 A Side Football tournament. With 11 hockey and 9 football teams the competition was a busy success. The final results are as follows:
Hockey
1st Place – Kinross JAC
2nd Place – West Fife YFC
3rd Place – Strathearn JAC
Also qualifying for National in 4th and 5th place are: East Fife JAC and East Lothian JAC
5 A Side Football:
1st Place – Border Fed District
2nd Place – Forfar JAC
3rd Place – Bathgate JAC
Also qualifying for National in 4th and 5th place are: Kinross JAC and Strathearn JAC
Thank you again to Riverside Pitches, Dundee and a big thank you to all the stewards and umpires who helped keep the competition running so smoothly. Well done to everyone who came to take part and good luck to the above mentioned at National.
