National Beef Cattle Dressing 2025
On Sunday 19th October we held our National Beef Cattle Dressing Competition (Sponsored by Galloway & Macleod) at Harrison and Hetherington, St Boswells Mart, Melrose. The competition was a great success with all of the competing pairs showing off a fantastic level of skill and attention to detail on the day. National Events and Engagement Manager Emily Simpson summed up the day:
“It was a really good event and great to see it so well supported. Thanks to everyone involved including Craig at Harrison and Hetherington, St Boswells who was so welcoming and very accommodating to all our competitors’ needs. Big thanks must also go to Archie and all at Fans farm who kindly donated stock for the competition. Their hard work and stocksmanship didn’t go unnoticed and their top-quality stock was highlighted by our expert judge John Elliot of Roxburgh Mains.”

3rd Equal – Ben Graham & Ryan Adam, Biggar and Emma Kerr & Kirsten Andrew, Ayr
