08 Dec East Lothian Win With A Bang
The SAYFC annual National Clay Pigeon Shooting final was held at Cluny Clays on Saturday 3rd December 2023 with success going to East Lothian JAC!
The day saw 20 competitors from across Scotland take part in a 50-bird all round shoot. East Lothian JAC showed their superior shooting skills on the day, taking first place with their team made up of James Kennedy, Rupert Kinch and Matthew Kinch (with a combined score of 144).
The second placed team were from Avondale YFC, Jack Brailsford, Ian Young and Gordan Craig (with a score of 142) and Third place went to Inverurie JAC, Martyn Thomson, Ian Armstrong and Luke Burnett (with a score of 124). Other competing members were from Callander, Lanark, East Kilbride, Crossroads and Border Fed.
The Top Gun individual of the competition was Matthew Kinch of East Lothian JAC with a score of 46 out of a possible 50.
